Road Trip to the Grand Canyon by
Contributing Photographer Annetta Bosakova
Two weeks ago my in-laws made a long journey over from Slovakia to stay with us for a month long visit. As they don’t come to America often, we treated them to a trip to the Grand Canyon. After a few days of rest and adjusting to America we all hopped on a plane to LA where we picked up our rented RV and home for the week. Our first night was spent in LA as we played on the beautiful beaches of California and got acquainted with our new ride. After a few hours of packing the RV with fresh organic groceries we were off on our adventure through California, Utah and then to Arizona where we saw one of the World Wonders, the Grand Canyon. Along the way we stopped in Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Zion National Park, and a forest that was scorched by a wildfire.
The two things I will remember most from this trip is the Zion National Park with all of it’s beauty and seeing the Grand Canyon light up with a bolt of thunder.
Thanks for letting me share my travel adventure with you. How are you spending your summer vacation this year?
